Rising Tide Society
For those who don’t know, Megan (founder of Annaliese Designs) is a co-leader of the Rising Tide Society Lowcountry chapter, alongside Anneliese Elder.
If you’re a small business owner, you know how easy it can be to feel stuck. Maybe you lack inspiration or direction, maybe you feel stagnant in your business, or maybe you feel isolated from people who understand your experience.
Rising Tide Society exists to help small business owners form genuine connections among intentional individuals while exchanging ideas, advice, and creative approaches to running their businesses. By connecting our members with local and remote chapters, and by offering them events, resources, and more, we create the perfect environment for newfound growth and direction. In short, we help small business owners “rise.”
Ultimately, we want our mindset of community over competition to spread among small business owners everywhere, promoting an open exchange of perspectives and charitable sharing of resources of all kinds.

upcoming meetups
want to host a meetup at your venue or speak about a topic you’re passionate about?
We are always on the hunt for cool, new businesses in Savannah + Bluffton (and surrounding areas) to showcase, whether as speakers or as venues. If you are interested or know someone who might be, please fill out the form in this section.
Reminders:
We meet every other month + like to center the meeting around a specific topic.
Our meetups are usually around 6 PM on weeknights + only last 1.5 hrs.
Megan + Anneliese will provide the refreshments + RTS signage, the venue can provide whatever they feel comfortable with. (We do try to make sure each venue has enough seating for everyone to be comfortable.)
We love to host little giveaways at the end of each meeting for everyone who brought a business card. (Speakers/venues are welcome to contribute to the giveaway prizes if they wish but it is not required.)
On occasion, we have had to charge for meetups because of the speaker or venue’s cost but prefer for our meetups to be a free resource for members.

We are a part of Rising Tide Society to create opportunities for small business owners to connect, learn, and thrive. The best part of our meetups is seeing the wide range of small business types that each have something different to bring to the table. It warms our heart when a member voices an area of concern in their business during a meetup + another member says something like, “I can help with that, that’s what I do all day long!” To create more opportunities like that, we wanted to add this ‘job board’ of sorts that serves as a visual landing page for our members to voice their needs and offer the chance to help others in their specialized area of expertise. These ‘job postings’ can be in exchange for currency, trade-of-services, or complimentary - you choose. If you are in need of some help in a certain area of your business, please fill out the form to the right + we will post it in this section!
